Motoyoshi Okamura, who won a bracelet for Japan in 2021, is back for another bracelet in this event and made it to Day 2 with a lot of chips, but unfortunately finished in 143rd place and earned $3,338.
Seungyeol Kim, who entered Day 2 as the highest chip leader from South Korea, also finished the event in 40th place and earned $9,389 for his efforts.
Twenty-eight players have now advanced to Day 3 and the event’s prize pool is now $410,659.

The $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em attracted a tremendous amount of Korean and Japanese players, with a total of 21 players making it to Day 2, including Japan’s Jun Obara, who has recently performed well at the EPT, and 2021 Global Poker Awards Winner Masato Yokosawa.
