WPT Alpha8 for One Drop high roller event at WPT Korea held at Shinhwa World, Jeju Island, was concluded. This event had a Buy-in of KRW 170,000,000 (USD 132,126), making it the highest Buy-in tournament among the 18 events taking place at WPT Korea. A portion of the proceeds from the Big One for One Drop event will be used for providing clean water to children in Africa.
WPT Alpha8 for One Drop event recorded 18 entries and a prize pool of KRW 2,846,016,000 (USD 2,211,958). The event took place over two days, on the 22nd and 23rd of July. Steve O’Dwyer, a professional poker player ranked 14th on the All Time Money List, takes the first place at the event.
