What is Mixed Game?
Mixed Game, as the name suggests, is a game format in which players alternate between various poker games. Texas Hold’em, PLO, Razz, Seven Card stud, and many other poker types can be added to a Mixed Game. Mixed games can be divided into two categories: games that change format based on a certain number of blinds or time, and games that change format based on the number of hands.
For tournaments, Mixed Game, where only two games are played, will most often have all two games listed in the event name for that tournament. ex) Mixed No-Limit Hold’em/Pot Limit Omaha
Tournaments that play three or more types are divided into three main categories

Mixed Game is not well known in Korea.
However, most Korean players probably have no experience playing Mixed Game. It is difficult to play Mixed Game in a live game. Why Mixed Game is attracting attention in Japan

T : This is the tournament with the highest prize money I have won. My goal is to win the Main Event or win a bracelet at the WSOP. I rarely play in tournaments to begin with, so it’s not easy…
P: What is the next event you will be attending at the current WSOP?

P：こんにちは、TOMOMITSU ONO選手、まずは自己紹介をお願いします。
T：ポーカープロを10年ほどやっているTOMOMITSU ONO、YouTubeで「ポーカーバラエティオーノ塾」というチャンネルを運営しています。
P：2023 今シーズン、特に日本のプレイヤーがMIX GAMEで成績を伸ばしていますが、日本のプレイヤーが韓国のプレイヤーよりもMIX GAMEに強いと思う理由はありますか？
T：私はポーカープレイヤーとしてのキャリアを韓国で始めたので、韓国は思い出深い国であり、大好きな国です！今まで10回以上行きましたが、カジノにミックスゲームがないような気がします。 そのため、韓国より日本の方が強いとは全く思いません！（笑）！
日本にももちろんカジノがないので、私はミックスゲームに強いプレイヤーと集まり、自分たちで勉強会などを通じて練習してきました。
P：昨日のPEACEPOKERの記事で少し紹介しましたが、2019年度に韓国で行われたAPPT MAIN EVENTでRUNNER UPを行い、キャリアハイを記録しました。 もしかして今回のWSOPでご自身の目標や夢はありますか？
T : 私が最も高い賞金を獲得した大会です。私の目標は、メインイベントで優勝するか、WSOPでブレスレットを獲得することです。 もともとトーナメントにほとんど出場しないので、なかなか難しいのですが…。
P：現在開催中のWSOPで、次に参加されるイベントは何ですか？
T：あとはメインイベントだけですね。 当分はキャッシュゲームを続ける予定です。
