After winning the 2022 Wynn Summer Classic $3,500 Championship, South Korea’s Hong jinho returned to the United States for another shot at the trophy.
Hong made the final table of the Wynn Mystery Bounty, doubling up with pocket queens, but fell short in ninth place, earning $59,009 in prize money.
With over $250,000 in tournament winnings between the Wynn and the WSOP, Hong will be looking forward to the rest of his schedule.
According to a YouTube live broadcast from Korea today, Hong announced that he will not be attending the WSOP Main Event due to physical problems and illness, expressing his concern and disappointment.
