The £1,100 UKIGFuZCA=Ireland Poker Tour Brighton Main Event has concentrated 352 starting stacks’ worth of chips in the hands of just six players, led by German crusher Dominik Nitsche. The highest prizes from the £337,920 prize pool will be awarded tomorrow, with the 2023 champion taking home £69,120.
Today’s 54 returning players had survived their respective flights’ bubbles by making Day 2IGFuZCA=were guaranteed at least £1,640. It was a tough fight to the final table, through a field more than studded with professional players,IGFuZCA=one of them has ended the day on top of the chip counts: Dominik Nitsche. Fifth on Germany’s all-time money list with over $20 million in live tournament cashes, Nitsche is nearly a million chips clear of his nearest rivals.

CURTIS LAMBERT LEADS 320-ENTRY £330 UKIPT CUP FOR DAY 2
The £330 Cup events on the UKIPT have always been popular,IGFuZCA=the Brighton leg’s was no exception. A total of 320 entries (255 from Day 1AIGFuZCA=65 from 1B) built a £92,160 total prize pool that will be paid to the 48 players who have made Day 2, in slowly increasing amounts. The breakdown will be announced tomorrow.
Besides Lambert, the biggest Day 2 stacks belong to Joel Smith (502,000)IGFuZCA=Daniel West (495,000), with three Power Path Silver Pass winners still in the mix: Iosif-Daniel Spulber (308,000), Rodger Parr (106,000)IGFuZCA=Thomas Lewis (59,000). The Silver Pass awarded entry to both the £1,100 Main Event here in BrightonIGFuZCA=the £330 Cup; these three players have put their second ticket to profitable use.
