The seven-day Ace Poker League (APL) SEOUL, which ran from October 3-9, has come to a close.

#2 Main Event
Date : August 6 – October 9, 2023
Buy-in : 10 APL Tickets
Entries : 2,737
Prize Pool : KRW 2,081.6 million

As the first over-entry event for the APL brand, the main event of the series had the largest prize pool for a domestic tournament. It’s the second largest field in Asia after the APT Taipei Main Event in late April.

The player who survived the Main Event to win the title was Yuta. He took home the APL’s largest ever first-place prize, $350.6 million, and the second title of his career.

In an interview with peacepoker, Yuta said, “I’m happy to have won the Korean tournament, which I participated in by chance through Wepoker social media, and to have achieved my career high, and I plan to participate in the next series.”

The final table was also streamed live on Two Aces TV. Hosted by a combination of Bluff&Catch Ambassador Seung-mook Jung (7high) and Dae-joon Yeom, the livestream experienced a brief power outage that caused some of the coverage to be interrupted. Despite this, the livestream garnered nearly 160,000 total views, ranked as the 50th most popular gaming video on YouTube, and peaked at over 10,000 viewers at one point.
