Poker Masters Event #10: $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em Starts Monday, September 25, at 2 p.m. PT

Welcome to the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, for Event #10: $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em of the 2023 Poker Masters.

This is the eighth running of the Poker Masters that began in 2017, with Steffen Sontheimer being crowned the series champion and recipient of the Purple Jacket. Ali Imsirovic and Sam Soverel won in 2018 and 2019 before the series moved online to partypoker where Alexandros Kolonias and Eelis Parssinen were crowned champions. In 2021, Michael Addamo won the final two events to be awarded the Purple Jacket, while Sean Winter is the defending champion. The player that accumulates the most PGT points throughout the Poker Masters will win the $50,000 championship bonus and the 2023 Poker Masters Purple Jacket.

The top 40 players on the PGT leaderboard at the season’s end will qualify for the PGT Championship. The 2023 PGT Championship is a $1,000,000 freeroll with a $500,000 first-place prize. Along with the top 40, as ranked by the PGT leaderboard, there will be select PGT Championship “Dream Seat” winners awarded through special events and promotions.

Poker Masters Event #10 will see players begin with 200,000 in starting chips, and levels will be 45 minutes in duration before registration closes, and 60-minutes thereafter with a 10-minute break every two levels. Players who register before the start time of 2 p.m. PT will pay a reduced rake on their entry, but this will not apply for late entries and reentries. Registration closes at approximately 7:30 p.m. PT, which is the start of Level 7, and players are allowed two reentries during the event.

During the Poker Masters, there will be a 30-second shot clock, with each player receiving six 30-second time extensions per entry. The final six players will receive an additional six 30-second time extensions.

This tournament series is part of the PokerGO Tour (PGT), with players earning points based on the amount they cash for in buy-ins of $5,000 or more. The full PGT schedule can be found here, and the current PGT leaderboard is available here.

Cards are expected to be in the air for Event #10 at 2 p.m. PT on Monday, September 25, from the PokerGO Studio. The PGT Live Reporting Team will provide exclusive live updates throughout the event until a winner is crowned.
