The stunning Mediterranean island nation of Malta is set to host the Summer Festival Malta presented by PokerStars.
PokerStars SummerFestival Malta
Date : June 27 – July 2, 2023
Place : St. Julian’s, Malta
Malta is a country off the south of the Italian island of Sicily. It is also known as the little England of the Mediterranean because it is independent from the United Kingdom and retains British culture and is bilingual in Maltese and English.
Valletta, the capital, has retained its medieval appearance and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980, while the island of Gozo, known as the setting for the American TV series Game of Thrones, is famous for its diving site, Blowhole.
This country has hosted several poker tournaments in 2015 and 2016, including the EPT Malta, WPT Malta, and PokerStars Megastack Malta.
The PokerStars SummerFestival Malta was held for the first time in June last year. The main event attracted 815 entries and a prize pool of €782,400, with the winner, Bulgaria’s Zlatin Penev, taking home €144,630 for his efforts.
