After Day 2 ended with 47 players remaining, Japan’s Shiina Okamoto and Mayuko Morita advanced to Day 3.
Shiina Okamoto enters Day 3 with 1,225,000 chips, third in chips overall, and it will be interesting to see if she can bring home another Japanese bracelet.
If Shiina Okamoto makes the final table in this event, she will surpass her career high of $15,370 and set a new career high.

Following the ladies event, the No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw Championship has posted a day 2 update from a Japanese player.
