Main Event of APPT Manila kicked off on Aug 3rd. Day 1 tournament would be held in three different flights and survived players will keep going on the tournament in Day2 which get started at Aug 5th. Total 31 players from Japan and Korea advanced to Day2 in the Day1A flight.

High Roller Event, the single-day tournament of 150,000 PHP Buy-in was finished. Many players from Japan and Korea parted in. In this event, players can gain the bounty prize for 50,000 PHP when they eliminate other player.
A small incident occurred at the High Roller Knockout Event that was held today. When the LV10 time clock pointed at 27 minutes, player of seat 8 at table 21 found a marking on the A card, causing a small commotion. There was a fuss about this for about 2-3 minutes, but it was quickly finished by the floor. It was impossible to accurately determine whether it was a deliberate marking by the player or a scratch that occurred during the event, so the incident ended with the replacement of the card.
Get reached to the Final Table
After time has passed, Japan’s Obara Jun, Kawauchi Ryo and Korea’s Yea Joonhee advanced to the final table of 9 players.
The final, which lasted until 3:00 am local time, ended with Japan’s Obara Jun winning the championship trophy and 1,282,700 PHP in prize money. And Kawauchi Ryo hit a career high by winning 887,000 PHP in Runner-UP. Unfortunately, Yea Joonhee finished tournament in 9th place but didn’t get ITM.

本日開催されたハイローラーノックアウトイベントでちょっとしたハプニングが発生しました。 LV10の時計が27分を指したとき、21テーブル8番のプレイヤーがAカードのマークを発見し、ちょっとした騒ぎが起きた。この件に関しては2～3分ほど大騒ぎになりましたが、フロアがすぐに終わらせてしまいました。プレイヤーによる意図的なマーキングなのか、イベント中に生じた傷なのかを正確に判断することは不可能だったため、事件はカードの交換で終わった。
最終的に、日本の小原淳、川内諒、韓国のイェ・ジュニが9人で構成される決勝テーブルに進出した。現地時間午前3時まで続いた決勝は、日本の小原淳が優勝トロフィーと賞金1,282,700ペソを獲得して終了した。川内良は準優勝で887,000ペソを獲得し、キャリアハイを記録した。残念ながら、イェ・ジュニはITMトーナメントを9位で終えました。
